Summer Solstice & Blithewold Gardensor
Blithewold, with its sweeping lawn and fantastic views of Narragansett Bay, is the perfect location to take sunset pictures. Join me to help celebrate the setting sun on (almost) the Summer Solstice. Although I cannot guarantee the most picturesque sunset of your life, I can predict that you will learn tips and techniques for improving your photography skills and that you will have fun taking sunset photos!
Our group will meet at 5 PM in the Carriage House, wherewe will discuss sunset and low-light photography techniques. We will meander through the arboretum and flower gardens with photo stops in the Bamboo Groove and the greenhouse. There will be a discussion on macro (close up) photography along the way. We will photograph the sunset and continue shooting into the twilight. Everyone will be invited to share their best pictures on my website.
