The Washington County Fair is one of my favorite photo opps. There's so much to photograph, the rides, the animals, the fun, etc. Still, I always end up being draw to the people, so many different stories on so many different faces. I dusted off my old Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens for this shoot. It is a lens I rarely use but when I saw the results vs. my zoom lenses, I was impressed. I love the point of view of this lens, and the bokeh, mostly at f/4, greatly appeals to me. Overall, the look of these reminds me of shots taken with my trusty Nikon 35 film camera,  circa 1969. Only now I get to see the pictures instantly...
