Join me for a three week exploration of some of my favorite photographers including Edward Curtiss, Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham, Sebastio Salgado, Mary Ellen Mark, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Marc Riboud, Margaret Bourke-White, Richard Avedon, and Dorothea Lange. We will examine their lives and their images and take away some inspiration from these immensely talented men and women. This is a class for anyone who likes to look at good photographs.
JAN ARMOR is a commercial and fine art photographer with many years’ experience in both digital and traditional media. An OLLI member, he has taught several digital photography courses for OLLI at URI. He has received grants and awards for environmental photography and has taught at the Newport Art Museum, the Bristol Art Museum, and at Portsmouth and Tiverton arts organizations.
