I visited a lush "Giving Garden" today and photographed the Master Gardener's and volunteers who tend it. The focus here is on learning, but much of the produce harvested here is donated to various food pantry, including Jonnycake in Peace Dale. Again, I found volunteers working the soil, yet another example of people helping people. The produce from this plot of land is helping to feed the hungry. Click to enlarge.
