Photographers' Boot Camp with Jan Armor
"Take flight and become a better photographer!” -- Snowy Owl by Jan Armor
In order to create emotive, eye-catching images, a photographer must call on both their yin and yang sensibilities, that is, both his or her artistic and technical selves. Our workshop will speak to both sides of the photographer’s soul.
Improve your digital photography skills over three sessions. The first meeting will focus on portraits and people, with opportunities to photograph our models. Our second meeting, an evening session, covers photographing the landscape at sunset and in the last light. During the third class, we will take a close look at your photographs from the first two sessions with suggestions on how to improve them using Lightroom and Photoshop. Join us and be inspired. Small group, limited to just ten intermediate or advanced photographers. Questions - call me at 783-8232.
- Saturday morning, May 3rd, from 9 to 1 PM
- Saturday, May 10th at sunset and into the twilight
- Tuesday, May 14th from 7 to 9:30 PM for sharing and feedback on your work
- Fee is $149 for three sessions
COMMENTS ON BOOT CAMP
Jan and Bob, Thanks for a wonderful class - I was once told that if you want to learn photograph - make friends with a good photographer. Great advise that has certainly worked for me as is evidenced by my time with you both. Sandy Bowers
Good Morning Jan, Really had a great time with you guys!! On Monday mornings before boot camp, i could not wait for Saturday's class. The whole concept of being out shooting with friends and talking photography is the ultimate inspiration to compose and search for one's "masterpiece".Left and Right brain seems to be coming together! The ability to duplicate what ones eye sees is becoming a reality more and more as i continue to press that shutter button.Aside from camera basics, one has to learn to see what no one else sees before even looking thru the lens, i thank you for teaching us how to see the Light, Respectfully...Joe Mansillio
