Four sessions which will cover the basics of Lightroom Classic for photographers.

This popular software from Adobe allows you to import, process, manage, and display your images. Make the most of your time and streamline your workflow by learning to use this powerful photographic tool!
Catalog Creation and Input – Get started on the right foot by understanding the nature of a Lightroom catalog and how it relates to your photos. We will look at a typical Lightroom workflow, then focus in on the Library module, where you can import, organize, rate, and add metadata to your photos.

Processing – Using the same image processing technology as Photoshop’s Camera Raw plugin, Lightroom’s Develop module is where the magic happens. As a workflow tool Lightroom combines image-processing power with speed and efficiency, allowing you to get geat results in less time. We will learn how to make exposure and color corrections, crop, basic retouching, red eye reduction, sharpening, saturation, B&W conversions,andmore!

Output – You will learn how to get your finished photos out into the world, from delivering individual files to creating web pages and slideshows to making prints.

This class is taught through careful instructor demonstration. Students should bring their laptop with current Lightroom Classic installed to add to their experience. You should are familiar with the Mac or PC operating system.
